Charanga Music
At Beeches we use music planning from Charanga Music School. In our music lessons this term, we have been learning about pulse. The pulse is like a heartbeat and stays the same throughout a piece of music. We practise finding the pulse to different pieces of music by nodding our heads, tapping our feet or marching in time to the pulse.
We also begin each lesson by listening to a piece of music and discussing if we like it, what instruments we can hear and how the music makes us feel. We have learnt that our voices are instruments too! We really enjoyed singing and dancing along to Kool and the Gang ‘Celebration’!
