Owl Babies!

This week we have read the story ‘Owl Babies’ in Tigers. We then sat with our talk partners to retell the story using actions, and sequence pictures from the story independently during Literacy.

During outdoor learning we continued our learning on owl babies, and had a look at what natural materials we could use to make an owls nest. After putting our wellies on, we took a walk through the grass area and found leaves, twigs and small branches to use and make for our owls nests.

We have had a fun time completing activities related to our story this week! In PE we were able to travel along the benches, and end with a shape such as ‘star, tuck and pencil’. We found it really fun to use the benches during gymnastics this week!
