Owl Babies and Remembrance Day.
This week we read the story ‘Owl Babies’ written by Martin Waddell.
As a class we took the time to read and watch the story, and then had a go to retell the story to our ‘Talk Partners’ using a story Map. We really enjoyed re – telling our story to our friends.
We then used inspiration from the story to explore what ‘Nocturnal Animals’ are and created a nest for the owl babies.
Lastly to finish off our week, we discussed the importance of Remembrance Day and created Poppie art to display on our windows, and held a minute of silence to show our respects.
