This week we have had lots of activities related to Easter! We explored the religious story of Easter first and discussed that people celebrate Easter in different ways. Some celebrate it for Religious purposes, and some celebrate it as an Spring festivity.
We looked at how Easter is celebrated around the world, and noticed that eggs, and flowers were a symbol of new life and beginnings. After exploring Easter in religious and Non – Religious contexts, we then had our own visit to the Church. Mr Watson explained what Easter was, and showed us important items they have in the Church and that are important to the Christian faith.
We ended our week with the exciting Easter Bonnet Parade! we loved showing our hand made bonnets to our friends, and singing them Easter themed songs!
We have had a lovely, but busy week!
